Frequently asked questions
Short, honest answers to the questions we hear most. Can’t find yours? Call us.
Is the preliminary assessment paid?
No. The first assessment, online or at our office, and the first owners’ meeting presentation are free.
Who carries out the risk assessment?
Firms licensed by the ministry. Owners choose the firm; we guide the application and paperwork.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the building and its owners. From agreement to occupancy most of our projects took 24 to 34 months; the exact schedule goes into the contract.
Do you provide guarantees?
In land-for-flat projects, a guarantee defined in the contract and title transfers tied to the work programme apply. Details are drafted by lawyers for each project.
How long are quotes valid?
30 days, because of material price volatility. The validity is printed on the quote.
Can we visit the site?
Yes. The first Saturday of every month is owners’ visit day; we provide helmets and vests. Other days are by appointment.
What if something goes wrong after handover?
We provide on-site service for two years. Requests are logged in our system and answered within 48 hours.
Do you work on listed buildings?
Yes, with board-approved designs; our conservation architect manages the work on site.
